What does "Ryōken" mean?
Ryōken 猟犬 (pronounced: ryoh-ken) is Japanese for hunting dog. Learn more about what this means to us here!
What is the shelf life of your products?
Our products have an 18-month shelf life!
Are your products lab tested?
Yes! All our products are lab-tested by an AAFCO accredited lab, you can find the guaranteed analysis on the labels and the product page.
Are your products grain free?
Absolutely! We never formulate with additives or cheap fillers like pea, chickpea, legume, wheat or soy.
Are your product organic?
100%! They contain absolutely no preservatives, fillers or salt. Meats are grass-fed and finished and fish are sustainable and wild-caught. All fruits used are Non-GMO and organic with no artificial flavors.
What's the difference between a RUKU BAR and MIJI MINI?
RUKU BARS are formulated with a higher fat and protein content to cater the metabolic demands of active dogs on the go.
MIJI MINIS are formulated with a balanced and lower calorie content to be used in a wider variety of circumstances like training, toppers, enrichment, etc.

Not to worry! Because we believe strongly in ecological diversity, we do seasonal drops of rotating proteins. If you notice one you'd like to try, shoot us an email at info@ryokeninstinct.com since we always take into consideration all of our customers' input.

SHIPPING
Where do you ship?
We currently only ship to the USA and Canada, but working hard on expanding!
How long does it take to process an order?
Please allow 3-6 BUSINESS days for your order to be processed before shipping. We make every effort to fulfill orders as soon as possible.
Apparel ships from a separate warehouse and will take 7-9 BUSINESS days to be fulfilled before shipping to you.
How much is shipping?
Shipping rates on orders below $75 will be calculated through USPS and will range anywhere from $4.50-15 depending on where you're located and the weight of your package. Free shipping for orders $75 (excluding apparel) and up!
Hawaii Transit Times
If selecting USPS ground advantage and you are located in Hawaii, please be aware of the following: Packages 15.99 oz or less will travel by air (typically 3-5 day transit time). Packages greater than 15.99 oz will travel by ship and will take much longer to arrive (it seems to take a few weeks). If speed is a concern, please upgrade to USPS priority mail, for a transit time of 3 days. Orders over $75 can upgrade to USPS priority mail for $4.99!
How do I track my order?
SHIPPING POLICY
Once the package has been handed to the carrier and scanned, it is out of our control. We are not responsible packages returned to us for incorrect addresses or lost/stolen packages. These will not be replaced.
Canadian customers will be responsible for paying any taxes, duties and customs fees.

Return Policy
At Ryōken Instinct, we stand behind our products and want to ensure that every member of our community, especially your beloved companion, has the best experience possible. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer a 15-day return policy from the date of receipt.
Refund Eligibility
• Returns are accepted within 15 days of receipt of your item.
• Returns are not accepted on purchases of more than 3 quantities of the same product, or purchases made from a third-party seller.
• Limited edition, clearance items, or gift cards cannot be returned.
Refund Requests
To initiate a return, please contact us at info@ryokeninstinct.com or via the contact form on our website. Our team will provide you with a return shipping address and detailed instructions for sending back your items. Please ensure that a return request is completed in advance; items returned without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and notify us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item. We will promptly evaluate the issue and make it right for you.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed and automatically applied to your original method of payment within 10 business days. Please note that shipping charges are non-refundable.
